DailyFi, Inc. (“DailyFi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the DailyFi mobile application and related services (the “Service”), a personal budgeting app that helps you understand and manage your money through a short daily check-in.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

To power the Service, you can securely connect your bank and credit card accounts using Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”). When you connect an account, we receive financial information from Plaid, including:

We use Plaid’s Transactions and Balance products. We do not receive or store your online banking username or password. Those credentials are entered directly into Plaid and are never shared with us. See Section 5 for details on Plaid.

We use Plaid to connect your financial accounts to the Service. By using the Service to link an account, you grant DailyFi and Plaid the right to access and use your financial account information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Plaid’s privacy practices.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

You can disconnect a linked financial account at any time, which stops further data collection from that account through Plaid.

We operate the Service from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other appropriate means and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
